Finally got pics
I've had this car for 3 years, a total mess when i got it, my initial goal was too rebuilt it to its stock specs. Its a 88 NA automatic, yeah i know it sucks, but 7's are pretty hard too find in Canada as it is. I picked it up at a repo auction for $1600 CDN. It came with 3 siezed calipers and a busted U-joint. A couble days in the shop and no lookin back after that.
I've made some minor mods: - removed all 3 cats, and replaced them with 1 high flow - upped piping too 2.5" - K&N cone filter, in the process of making an air box - tokico springs and struts all around - replaced every suspension part up front except control arms and sway bar - just purchased the energy suspension master bushing kit and plan on replacing all of them when i get some time. (should have done them when i had it all apart the first time haha) In the years of having my 7 i've sorta diverted from wanting too keep it stock and plan on a 5 lug conversion to throw on some bigger calipers. I'm also looking for a Eaton M90 to go that route. Is that such a wise idea with an automatic? |
So.. where are the pix?

It's the same (generally) as any other 5sp swap, the tranny's just a little heavier and the wiring is different for the reverse/5th gear/neutral switches
|
