that area doesn't connect with the insides of the tranny for the purposes of fluid filling. you've got to get under there with some kind of pump and do it the hard way.

Or, you can do this:

- take your shifter console off

- find a piece of clear tubing that will fit into your tranny's fill plug

- run that piece of tubing down through the outlet by the shifter

- put one end into the fill hole

- stick a funnel in the other end

- pour proper amount of tranny fluid into the funnel

I ran a line through the engine bay down into the tranny fill hole. Worked pretty good. I'll use the shifter route next time though.

Don't fill it through the shifter it won't work...I tried that lolz...

You must do what the guys are saying doing the hard way with a hose and a funnel. Gravity works pretty good this way.

Ha ha. At first, I was laughing at your post and joking to myself. But it just hit me, that's a really good idea. i'm an idiot.

yea that is a good idea. I was thinking of just running a line permanently to the tranny fill hole. Get some good high pressure hose (not that you need it, but meh) and clamp it onto a threaded hollow plug into the tranny fill hole. Route it up through to the engine bay and mount it by the clutch/brake resevoir for easy filling access.

As long as you pour the exact amount that you need in, let it sit for ten minutes, it should all go into the tranny, and none left in the hose. Just an idea...
