WA FD knightsports wing on an FC

anybody tried it? How would i have to modify it to make it fit nicely?

they look almost identical, so why not just get the proper one?

considering the available mounting points for the FC, i'm gonna say it's probably not going to happen.

i know i'm being pessmistic, i just find it a bit unlikely that they'd line up near perfect considering the FC wing mounting spot is like 25mm wide, so it'd have to be like they designed the wings to be interchangable in the first place. that is possible though.

i mean i guess you could mount it to the hatch itself if the mounts don't line up, but i think that'd look off.

The fd Knightsports wing fits, it's just a larger piece compared to the FC on overall. Modifications to the mounting points to the hatch for clearance and that's all folks.

I can measure my knightsports fc wing tomorrow to give you a better idea if that helps.

Ha! I will be keeping it for a while but we will see once race season gets here.

So the wing has 4 studs, 2 on each side and they appear to be spaced out about 10in from each other.
