Any body got any info on this?:

i like it alot:drool1:
that's gotta be the only FC I've ever seen with that kinna wing that I thought was cool
wow, looks like a mitsu FTO.. but this looks far cooler. I think I'll have to try this when i feel lucky...
It's japaneese, he's got a 'v-opt' on the window.. |
This has been asked before...if I recall they took a front clip from a FD and welded it to the FC.
nice..but how much would it cost? arm maybe a ankle
looks good, but yeah what's the cost??
not exactly, check out the fenders as well..those are FD pieces. looks like they molded FD fenders (front portions) onto FC fenders and bolted the FD nose accordingly. those headlight housings are also FD units, not sure about the hood, I bet it's a hybrid as well. beautiful car!!
well there you going proof that anything is possible heh
really nice car tho i dont think it would be so expincive if you have the right resources |
That looks fantastic. In the Yamaguchi 3rd gen book Mazda's got a mule FC at the Nurburgring with an FD front end on it. It looked good then even grafted on in temporary fashion. I've been wondering for awhile what a full and carefull install would look like.
RotaryExtreme (I think) has a front end that resembles an FD for the FC. Note: I said resembles....
Also, any bigger & better shots of that car? Would like to add those images to my collection! thanks!! |
Hmm...that looks pretty darn good. (At least from the angles of the pictures).
The hood will have to be custom made as well. |
FD front clip on a FC with a T2 scoop molded into the stock hood, It would probly be easy if you knew how to cut and weld, and if you had alot of money.
That looks outstanding.
yah defn. i wonder what's under the hood!
probably an FC engine becuase it would save time and money, not haveing to swich the trans. and such.
Its just an fd front clip this car has been discussed alot a while back when we first saw the picture.

curvy(fd)+angular(fc)=not good IMO.
I think a straight and well-lighted photo would show it not flowing well with the rest of the car. Interesting though.

holy thread from the dead.
ive been thinking about this for a few years, could i just make alum sheeting to modify the the fc clip so i could bolt on FD fenders and fd bumper cover? well the answer is yes, but could it be done for under 3k. including parts. that is what the ACTUAL conversion kit costs, not including shipping costs (which would be ridiculous.. the company imports from jap and then sends it here.) i have connections to cutters and welders. even a CNC plasma cuter to cut sheet metal (up to 1/4" thick steel) so all the labor would not be too expensive. or maybe could it be cheaper to find a crashed roller and cut and weld the front end? |
if ur doin it to the car in ur sig, u better go all out.. better wheels full suspension etc..
but u could try and be a pioneer. extreme body mods dont float too well on these forums. |
Hmmm now I wanna see pics
Why... it would look better to just sell the FC and buy and FD
