FD alternators

We'll something amiss.

When i take out the battery my car car run fine.

Electric fan comes on...............car dies.

alternator is 2 weeks old.

Battery won't charge

new 4 guage grounds--- no voltage drop between alt/battery

I have underdrive on the main and alternator pully.

I knew this is a prob so my idle was set at 900 rpm (compensate for the underdrive)

I can live with the fact that i need a FD alternator. This is where my question comes to play.

I live in iowa................"Rx......What"

yeah.......closest one is in kentucky....and a junk yard would just plain laugh at you.

so i go online and find this one

any other good links for FD alternators? It's a pain to find these even online.

(car is stock besides e-fan)
