fc3s pro tb mod....now what?
 

i had done the fc3s pro tb mod. however...i dont know what to do with the coolant under the intake manifold and where do i hose it to? i contacted fc3spro and he had told me that he got a 90 degree bend hose however...i went to autozone and advanced auto and no one had what i was looking for. please help. i wanna put back my tb and drive my car already!

You can't find a hose with a 90 degree Bend on it?..then you are at the wrong Store!..(just ribbing ya)..they do make the darn things..and IF you can't find one,then just get a Hose the same size Diameter and Run it in a loop,so that it will still flow,and not Be Pinched.That will get you going until you can find a 90 degree coolant hose.

you said it right there "autozone" and "advanced". A good Idea would be to just ask a resectable mechanic to get you the 90 hose bend. Its kinda of a second job for a mechanic to know where to get odds and ends like that. I even know for a fact that I have that kind of hose in many sizes at my shop so of course they exists. chances are autozone did have a hose inventory and had what you needed but didn't know maybe where in their inventory to go and get it.

I hate to say it but here in my town I know the napa and car quest stores better than some of their employees so most times when I need a specific part like that for a customer's car I just go back into their inventory my self and have them ring it up.

I did that mod on one of my 7's and used the hose you are looking for and I got it at a typical napa. What you could do is what misterstyx69 said and actually drive your car to a carquest and have one of the Veteran not a newby employee come out and see what you're talking about and have him run back and get ya that hose you need...
