FC3S.org CF sunroof

Anyone purchased one of those yet?
They seem pretty nice.
They are $225 on their website. This gets rid of the sunroof motor right?

does it fit without leaking? Anyone have one, or know someone who has. I'm curious on long term effects.

No, it works just like stock

That would seem to negate any weight saving advantages. Not like the motor weights much to begin with!

damn i wish i saw that before paying 225 for an O.E. steel one...

I think the idea is to replace the top with something cosmeticlly looking better, while not rusting out, as commonly happens.

If weight was a concern, you should just replace the top all together with roof that has no sunroof.

You save 8 pounds over weight from the TOP of your vehicle. Also it is a common problem for FC's sunroof to rust. I cannot wait to order one. Just have to finish moving first.
