fc rear differential fit in the miata
 
I thought I herd that it did, I would search but its not working right now :( but I have a friend that has a miata '92 I think and he is having trouble finding a new differential for it.

I can find a differential for a fc easy so will it fit up?

no. the internals are swappable, but the actual pumpkin is different. How the heck did he manage to break the diff on his miata???

Its remarkably easy when you go FI. Over 250rwhp the diff on the pre '94 1.6 cars has a tendency to go - its only a 6" crownwheel :(. On the 1.8 cars its a 7" crown, the same I believe as the N/A Rx7 - this takes 350+ before it fails, but there are a few miatas out there that push out these sort of figures.

he;s a dumb ass and thinks double clutching is redlining your eginge and droping the clutch each time you shift to make the tires sqeel so now his rear diff gears are smooth (maybe he will listen to me now!)

But he can swap the gears out on the inside? cuz thats all he needs
