FC Experts please HELP!

I have my engine back together but can't get it started.

When I put the key in the start position and than go to the engine bay I hear a constant clicking from the Dynamic chamber area. If I put my hand on the Dynamic chamber I do feel it virbrating. Is this normal or does it mean I hooked something up wrong?

Thats normal, or at least my car does it too

Do you know what the clicking is?

What are some reasons for not getting fuel pressure?

HAILERS 03-25-02 06:15 PM

The most likely reason for the clicking is the BAC. Pull the plug off and see if it stops. The fuel pump should be activated when the key is turned to the on position. Once the engine starts there is a micro sw inside the mass air sensor that keeps the fuel pump circuit in tact. Near the front inboard side of the right hand strut tower there should be a two socket connector, yellow in color, maybe with a black boot over it. You can jump your fuel pump to the on position by jumpering the two sockets with a piece of wire. If the key is to the on position , you will hear a relay pullin as the sockets are jumpered. To make sure the pump is a pumpin, get a 19mm wrench and go to the secondary fuel rail, at the back, and break loose the 19mm banjo bolt on the end of the fuel rail just a bit. Fuel should spray everywhere. Thats with the jumper in place and the key to the on position.
