FC Convertible Values

I recently purchased a 1991 Convertible in perfect condition. It has no imperfections inside or out. Absoulutely perfect with only 24,000 miles. Never driven in rain. Seats and carpet always covered. Car always covered when not in use. Any idea what it is worth? Are convertibles becoming more valuable?

A low mileage 91 Vert sold for 10,500 on Ebay last Februrary. The bidding on it was fairly active.

Think about it, if your vert is perfect and mileage is accurate you are basically purchasing a 30,000 convertible for 1/3 the cost. Also consider how much a new convertible costs and you have grounds to ask for significantly higher than book value if you decide to sell it.

Its all about timing and marketing the value of the vehicle. Any item is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. Blue book values for a vehicle which was produced for only 3 years and particularly a last year production model are not necessarily accurate.

If you don't agree with me, I'd be more than happy to pay you 6,500 for it.

Rarer colors (dark blue, medium blue, black, silver), low mileage, and later models (1990, 1991) tend to fetch a bit more.

Being an automatic or standard gives a certain amount to it too. But that pretty much applies for all rx7s. If the car drives and looks like new then it would be worth quite a bit. Honestly if it were me id keep it healthy but dont drive it often because it will just go up in value as time goes on. Or take care of it any enjoy it like i do. ive owned 2 rx7s that were show quality and used them as daily drivers. My 85 gsl-se was 44k original miles and i drove it daily till it had 60k on it and then foolishly sold it on ebay. But i made 2k off of it and it left me in nicer shape than it came into my hands. Same with my convertible although im trying real hard not to sell it and make another foolish mistake. My experience with rx7s is that if the car is the pinnacle of clean and truly like new that you will regret getting rid of it once its gone. Ive owned so many cars i couldnt even begin to list them all but the weird thing is out of all of them the 3 that stick in my mind the most vividly are the 3 rx7s ive had. I guess the moral to my endless typing here is that if the car is clean and makes you feel good hold onto it, when i got the money i thought that was great but i would trade the money anyday to have my old rx7s back. I miss them dearly
