Extended lug bolts for the rear wheels
I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get some exteneded lug bolts for the rear hubs i wam wanting to run some spacers on the rear but am afraid of stripping out the lugs if anyone knows where to get some please let me know thanks

anyone should have them. www.summitracing.com www.jegs.com etc... If you're trying to get better wheel fitment for high offset wheels, then look into getting bolt-on spacers. |
do you know which is the right size that would fit a FC?
i need 10 stud and nuts for my rear... |
the lug pattern is a 4 x1.50 and the bolt pattern is a 4x1.114 hope this helps i dont know the length of the lugs off the hub i am still tryin to figure out a company that can get me extended lugs for my rx

Try looking for the ARP studs for the Corvette. They are a metric fitment (exact same diameter and thread as stock) and the knurl size I believe is even the same (or negligibly different). You can find them at summit for I believe $15 for 5 studs. I am using them on my 89 MX6 right now.
EDIT: just read you have a four lug. I dunno how different the studs are from the 5 lug, but at least you have a lead now. |

so the thread pattern and everything is the same on the rx as the vette?? thanks for ur info.. The lug pattern on the 4 and 5 studs are the same so hopefully these will fit i think i might give em a try nonetheless.. thanks again

All you have to do is make sure the pitch and diameter on the nuts you buy is the same as the pitch and diameter on the studs you buy.
So if you get M12x1.5 studs, just get M12x1.5 nuts to go with them, and you'll be cool. Make sure the nuts are conical seat, and open headed. A closed head nut will not go down anywhere near as long as it needs to on the stud. |
also are the lugs on the fc press fit in??? i know that the aftermarket lugs will have to be press fit in i was just wondering if i would also have to get the pressed out??

a good hit with a hammer gets the old studs out. and putting new in you can either take the hub off and hammer in on solid spot[like positioning on vise] or use an impact with a couple washers and a lug nut to press back in
