While the shop was putting my motor together, they noticed that my exhaust manifold was cracked. its a 1990 turbo rx7. pulshing 10lbs. whats a high performance exhaust manifold do you guys reccomend? its all stock my car besides intake and turbo back rb exhaust and fcd.. i just dont want it to crack again. a new one from mazda is $450 cdn.

I don't know about aftermarket but a cheap alternitive would be to have yours welded. Mine is nickel welded and works just fine. Cost $25 .

Anything aftermarket will be headers...Racing Beat, and Mindtrain seem to be the popular choices.

 

He has a TII. They don't have headers, N/A's do I would just have it welded too D.K. It seems alot cheaper than a new one. Most of the aftermarket ones are for T04's anyway and won't work with the stock turbo. I do have a turbo and manifold with no cracks with about 30K original miles FS on thepartstrader though

 

i have a spare Series V (89-91) engine...if u want a used manifold make me an offer

 

is it off a turbo engine? the exhaust manifold?
