Ether? and spark
 

ok go the fuel system primed and everything in my car cause it ran out of gas. can't get it to run now. It will crank and catch a few times but wont start up. I bought some ether but havn't tried it yet. Will starter fluid help me? and also when just cranking will the trailing plugs spark? cause i tried to check the spark of the trailing coils on my car today and i had one up near the windsheild so i could see it while cranking and saw now spark. I had it grounded on the wiper. . lol But there was still no spark. should there have been? thanks guys. I really need to get this thing running again. Any suggestions would be great. thanks

Usually the trailing doesn't spark while cranking, I am not positive but it doesn't matter as long as the leading spark. Yes, the ether will help, or WD-40 or carb cleaner, but if it dies right away after that something else is wrong. Make sure the EGI fuse is not blown and that the fuel pump has power to it.

you can run on just leading easily. you need to find someone to work the ignition while you check for spark.
