Engines

Does anybody have any experience with rotaryengine.com I am interested in getting a 13bt through them and would like to know if anyone has an opinion or better yet experience with them. That and if anyone knows if their engines include turbo would be helpful too

I wouldn't recommend them. I've bought parts from RX-7 Specialties before and had zero issues, but I have heard nothing but problems with their engines.

KDRotary, from Pennsylvania. They were going to get me a 20B for my TII, but I figured the swap would cost way more than I projected, so I'm saving for the project.

They do everything for Rotary's... plus have a junkyard of sorts, parts galore. I'm debating driving up to see them.

Problems like what aaron cake? I am getting an engine from them, 3mm apex seals, new housings, etc.. But now you got me worried :\ I have bought a used engine from www.jspecauto.com (NEVER get a jdm engine from those peices of donkey shat!) it was doa, second one they sent me was doa and they dont want to send me another one even though they warranty their engines, so now i'm am getting a good one built. So as you can see I want this new engine to work flawless. They do have a 1 year warranty on the engines they rebuild...

If you knew how they handled my T2 housings coolant sleeve sealing, then you really wouldn't want to deal with them.

I've talked to a guy here tho, and he used to work there. He says that the owner really has good customer service skills, he's seen him do very nice things for unsatisfied customers (insert sexual comment here ;)).

Well then what is a reputable place in canada to get a good rebuilt engine from? I heard good things about rx7 - specialties, but now I dont know.

Search the Canadian forum for references. Many sad stories have been posted...Things like engines being built with one NA rotor and one TII rotor, bolts in the intake, etc.
