your going to have to give us more info. what do your plugs look like? have you done a full tune up? all fluids, filters, check all settings on the throttle position sensor, O2 sensor, throttle body screws, all electrical connections, plugs, wires, and most importantly GROUNDS! I would check the FAQ and the archives, they are VERY informative. Welcome to the RX7, you probably have a lot of work to do. I did and still do.

thanx for the helpfull hints im in my garage now! but the problem seems a little more serious than that because after checking all that you listed nothing seemed to be disconnected and the car still has the problem, Id hate to say this but what serious problems does this end up to be?

First of all, let your car warm up before you "floor it", or you'll blow a coolant seal sooner or later...

I know you just got the car, but you're going to have to get your hands on the Factory Service Manual and read it. If you're racing, then you should have the technical competence to follow the FSM through the troubleshooting steps to solve your problem, which could be several things...The FSM is online at Teamfc3s.org...

yeah these engines are almost completely different than a piston engine. You need to learn ALOT, before you do anything. Some of my friends think I am some sort of expert on these cars, but people on here will tell you, I am just a nube. I know alot, and I still have alot of close calls where I almost break stuff. Like that damn corner piece that shot across the garage an hour ago!!! AHAHHAHAHAHH!!!!!!! I am not gonna build another motor for a whole 6 months! and I mean it!!!!

LOL, I was chasing those sum-bitches down every time I was trying to put the side housing down too :)

Spooge some vaseline all over the corner pieces, that helps a lot...

is there any possible way this could be a messed up clutch?
