sorry but i must say this, REDLINE oil is CRAP!!! and mobil one and anything else, if you want a true synthetic you have to go with AMSOIL, trust me, every car i own runs it, i told one of my freinds about it who owns one of them hybrids, and now he gets a 10% gain in mpg! sceintist would die for that extra milage, AMSOIL is the shit!

Can we get some proof to back up those statements?

It may be a common topic, but I still think it's a problem if the trans is making a noise. Granted, even the RX7 with a bad input shaft bearing isn't going to cause any problem until it disintegrates, but it wasn't there when new, so it shouldn't become noisy after use. He purchased his RX-8 new and it didn't have any trans noise until recently, therefore telling me that wear has occurred. Or maybe just another Mazda engineering screw up, as there has been a few. I've listened to a few brand new RX8's and haven't heard the noise.

go search around on forums a stuff, i race cars(somewhat professionally), and when i sent my motor back to my engine guy, he almost but it back together without replacing anything.
the deal is that because the oil is so good, it is by definition expansive, duh, so what they have done is to not certify it for many vehicles, and not but it in your local stores, that’s mainly because no one know about it,
for example, i change the oil to amsoil in a fj 1200cc Yamaha, and the idle itself increased by 500 rpms.
im not trying to force this stuff on you. if you want to know just purchase some, its not much more than redline, or lucas oil.
try it u will like.

sorry to hop in this forum, but i think it has some relevance
