Kevin doesn't even have to advertise because of this forum. Everyone just points to his site. LoL. Whoever is in charge of financing this site should charge kevin for just being part of the forum. J/K!! :D

Kevin, I was just looking at your vert on your webpage, and I was wondering where you got the gauge pod that replaces the idiot lights.

RotaryResurrection 08-30-04 07:19 PM

IT's a generic ebay one. Cost like 30 bucks. Just measure your cluster and check the ones available to see if they're close. Mine looks like it's made for the car.

So if all engines need a rebuild, Should i just find the cheapest, shittiest one (in decent condition) i can find and just rebuilt it? o_O

Thats an odd question? A shitty engine will probably cost more to rebuild than a decent engine because there will be more parts required to be replaced.

RotaryResurrection 08-30-04 09:11 PM

How good your new engine rebuild turns out depends on the condition of the housings it was built from to begin with. New housings are quite expensive these days, and hard to come by. Consider this when making your purchase.

:werd:

And I appreciate recently you helping me with the rebuild parts I should get, picked everything up except the apex seals and springs from atkins today and ordered the seals/springs yesterday from RA. Thanks again!

Kevin is a great guy and honestly if I had more money and lived closer I'd go to him, but being in WA sucks :(

No... a shitty engine might have fucked up rotors or housings that will need replacing and cost $$$ that a better engine that still needs a rebuild would.

I think I might be paying kevin a visit soon :( But it'll be for a full race motor so not that bad, but its still undecided, a little help in the thread I made Kevin? :)
