Engine Light Code 12
 

Just got done checking why the engine light was coming on. I got a code 12 which is throttle sensor full range. I'm wondering where the hell that is? I'm looking around the throttle body and can't figure out which wires it is. Thanks for any help.

I found a cut black wire with a clip on the end hanging right where the throttle body is. Anyone know?

Man, we're not ignoring you, I guess just S4 guys are on...I can only guess: the TPS is on the front of the throttle body, connected to the linkage there. It should have at least one harness, with a plug a little distance away. You can disconnect the plug, and read the TPS out with a meter per the FSM, or do it at the ECU. If you're throwing a code, you know something's wrong...

Maybe an S5 guy will get on & give you some better info...
