Engine compression problem
I got my engine rebuilted on may 28, by july the 1st the front stationary gear broken, breaking the engine so I rebuilt with the help of a friend. We put most of the parts news except for the parts were good from the previous rebuild. I put it back in the car and itdid not want to start, the compression on the front rotor is 45 and the rear is 85. I have a S5 na.

Hopefully your inner O-ring didn't fall out of position..
Did you clean & check the rotor side seal grooves? You may have some stuck seals. Try some thick oil (like a 50/50 mix of ATF & motor honey) in the chambers to build compression. Then crank it as fast as you can with a jump from another car, or push start it. Watch for bubbles in the coolant. |
We fix everything, the only thing i can think of is the orange housing gasket were not in place properly.
