If a S5 engine compression is 9 is that good :Wconfused

do you mean 90? if its at 9 im pretty sure its toast... but if you mean 90 then it is acceptable but probably on its way out the door if i recall. you could search "compression" and you should be able to find a bazillion threads dealing with compression

Well I found this plave online and did a search here but turned up nothing....they said they would do a compression test on my engine and email it to me and also out the compression on the invioce... heres the link http://www.japanracingengines.com/engineview.asp?id=66

hmmm, i assume they mean 90 which is medial but i wouldn't put $1150 on an assumption, i would contact them.

p.s. about 110 is like new and 90-100 is good and anything under 90 is probably on its last legs or headed that direction
