Engine Codes
 

I have installed the new engine in Brenda Sue but I'am getting engine code 27. malfunctioning MOP, step motor ( I dont know what this is.) broken wire, short circuit or malfunctioning ECU. How should I begin to trouble shoot this. All help appreciated .:(

I think the OMP (Oil Metering Pump) is on the front cover. And it injects into the rotor housing above the intake ports.

i had the same error...replaced it with a working one and no more check engine light!...i swapped out ecu, swapped out omp 3 times...but aparently the ones i was putting in were just as bad. i found a guy named shawn that sold me one guaranteed it also...worked like a charm. no leaks etc and no more engine light! bitch to take off at first but now im a pro.

Do a search for metering pump or omp.
