hey there im just reinstalling my spark plugs, or re reinstalling them lol. Anyways, i want to be 100% sure the wires are going to the right plugs.

on this picture, which is Leading 2 and which is leading 1? thanks a bunch.

Leading 1 is lower left. Leading 2 is lower right.

now how sure are you? cause i was told the complete opposite by a mechanic, but i don't neccesarily trust that...

Leading possition doesnt really matter, you need to be worried about not mixing up the trailing plugs. The rear roter is 2, the front rotor is 1

Cosmo_TT 02-06-06 04:12 PM

the left one is number one just remember 1 and 2 is front to rear

Rotor 1 = Front.

Rotor 2 = Rear.

What the guy above me said.

if you look at it as L=lower (leading) ...and T=top(trailing)...now the wires for leading are switchable, between rotor housings(they fire simultaneously)..but the Trailing wires need to be Correct..T1=front rotor, upper plug...and T2=rear rotor, upper plug..

I'm sure. Are you sure that was a mechanic who told you otherwise?

I had a "rotary mechanic" tell me the L was the top and you cant mix up the plugs.
