eng. problem

I'm looking into buying a 87 TII great cond. 109,000 miles, guy said runs fine but when it gets hot and he turns it off it won't restart untill it cools down any ideas? thanks

Sure, its old, the injectors leak a bit and compression is not what it used to be. Do a search for a fuel switch. If you buy, switch can get you by for a while, but, you will need to spend some $$ at some point.

Someone fixed this by replacing the FPR!

If you could get him (or her) down a few hundered it might be better. If its cherry throughout, I would buy it. A DYI overhaul with a mild streetport and injectors cleaned, and you have a sweet ride.
