emissions or no emissions

there are no emission laws were im from so is there any disadvantages to having emissions removed?

It gets rid of the rats nest and makes things really clean looking around the engine bay, more reliability and no more vacumm hoses!! However it would be best to get some sort of aftermarket ECU as no doubt you will get rid of the cats, air pump and go for a bigger exhaust and intake to get the most out of it. You might get error codes in the std ECU because of the now defunct emissions items.

i was told the emissions will help the car maintain its engine life better. And that it would be better as a daily driver, i already have a no cats, airppump, and bigger exhaust.

if you got no emission laws, just rip it all out...

here in holland we have emission laws, except for everything that holds a rotary engine... (gotta love this country!)

it really cleans up and you free up some throttle response because you get rid of the airpump! i never got any error codes or strange idle...

this it what it could look like with emissions removed ;)

nice pic, is your alternator attached down there, or is it just sitting there?
