electrical problems
 

For some reason my dash lights don't. and my lights don't work. When I flip the switch my lights are supposed to pop-up and my dash is suposed to light up.
Currently when I flip the light switch everything but my dash lights and my head lights come on. I hooked a toggle switch up to the light relay so I can drive at night but that doesn't solve the problem of my interior lights.

And finally, my stereo doesn't come on at all. given I'm still Ironing out problems from when my buddy jumped my car but mixed up the terminals and burned my alternator, fuses and possibly my trailing coil (since my tach isn't functing. any Ideas? I'm going to test my coil to see if that the problem with the tach today but ANy info would be apreciated. Thanks:confused:

Replace the entire headlight switch. Go to a wreckers - you won't believe what Mazda charges. :eek:

Yeah, sounds like your buddy did some damage. Got a multimeter? Time to start checking wires...
