Electrical problem

I have YET ANOTHER problem! My interior/tail running lights/sidemarkers do not work ( I belive they are on the same circuit). I replaced the fuse and then it went right when I turned the light switch on again... So I assume there must be a short somewhere in the system, but I am VERY electrically handicapped. How do you find shorts?

very common problem.
replace the headlight switch and harness.

if you look carefully, you'll be able to see some melted wires on the headlight harness where it connects to the headlight switch cluster.

Is there any other way of fixing it other than replaceing?

I am not sure if this makes a difference or not, but my headlights still work when I turn the knob, as well as the gauges, dome light, door lights, heater, and warning gauges...

yea, sounds exactly like the problem i had, only way is to replace it. unless you want to make your own harness.
