how long until you noticed your belt had snapped? did you hear it right away? or did your car die before you knew it was gone? you may just have drained your battery, or it could be somthing else

i didnt' hear it snap i was driving and noticed that the volts were at 12 not 14 so when i got home i poped the hood, the blet was snaped, so i drove it to the garage down the street, it's close enough i can see it from my front yard. he changed the belt for me. It was still reading 12 volts when I trunded it off. After the belt go changed I went to start it up. It wouldn't do any thing. NO lights or nothing.....well the head lights work. LOL??? But no fan or radio or stuff like that. Then we tryed jumping it but it nothing changed. Now he said he might be able to look at it tomorrow probley Thursday. So if I knew what to do then i could look tomorrow and be driving tomorrow night again.

sounds like he might have blown the 80A main fuse over on the driver side fuse panel...

yeP... if nothing happens when you turn the key, however your lights still work, it would likely be the main fuse... if they fuse ain't blown, try wiggling the main fuse box a little, and see what happens...

Yes. I don't go to mechanics peroid. Coming on here, checking what my problem is and how to fix it, then doing it myself isn't hard. Changing a main fuse takes maybe 15 minutes.
