ECU remapping...

I was thinking about having my ECU remapped on my 87 TII but I dont really know much about this company (rtec) or any ECU chips from other companies. I was woundering if any of y'all have used this campany or had your ECu's remapped somwhere else and how did it do. How much boost did you run (from what turbo), what a/f ratio and how much power? I was thinking about gettin the 1.7 chip from rtec and running it with a Super AFC II.

any feedback is aprreciated, thanks.

rtec is the only company doing it for north american spec ECUs, and has a good reputation here.

There are a couple of other companies that sell supposedly remapped Jspec chips on ebay for $20, but they really don't do anything besides run the fuel pump at full voltage all the time, and remove the limiters

A lot of guys on the forum have purchased the chips from them. I have a S5 with a G Force upgraded ecu. When first installation with a stock intake, Bonez dp, Bonez high flow cat and factory stock cat back the car boosted 11psi and with the FD pump no problems. The car ran great. That was 3 years ago and still running strong. The car has run the 40 to 70mph (3rd gear) in 4.2 seconds average. Best investment I've ever made.

I have heard of people using G-Force and that it was pretty good. I tried to find their ECU chips and stuff on the internet and had no luck. Could you post up a link for me please? I would like to kinda campare the two. Which one do y'all think is better?
