ecu pin 3b, other end of wire?

The wire that goes to pin 3b on the ecu where does the other end go? The wire is black and blue.

also i know it goes to a plug by the ecu. Then does it change colors to black and white maybe?

I guess that im really trying to find out is where it ultimately ends or get its source of power.

I think it might be the starter relay but im not sure.

Page 50-22 in the wireing diagram. That wire turns from black/blue to black/white, splits and goes to the starter cut relay and the circut opening relay.

IF you don't have Theft Protection, you have no Starter Cut Relay, BUT in the relays place is a connector with a BRIGHT BLUE jumper connector mated with it. One of the wires in the plug is black/white and 3B is spliced into that wire somewhere inside the Front harness. It also goes to the solenoid on the starter.

3B has battery voltage only when the key is HELD to Start. LIke the fellow said, it's black/blue at the ECU but turns to Black/White at one of the Orange colored connectors just above and to the right of the passengers right foot. High up there.

I traced the black and white wire off of the starter into the the car on the drivers side and tapped into it and ran a wire directly to 3b but it still didnt start. Now that you mention the plug with the blue jumper for the relay i think i know what you are talking about, its behind the glove compartment. My car originally had a security system but i dont think it does any more, as the plug is jumped Ill try poking around that plug. I think most of my problem here is the wiring, there is so much garbage tapped in all over the place.

Thank you for your continued support.

OH! Shame on me. That BLUE connector is below the Trail Coil assy on my cars. Just remove the three nuts holding the trail coil assy on and lift it up and to the side. If you have NO theft protection, I'm pretty sure you'll see it right away.

But if you jumpered the start signal to the 3B and things didn't get better.......must be something else. I give up.

If you give up then I might just be screwed. Ill double check everything and when i figure it out ill get back to you. Thanks for all your help!

Hailers - is the Starter-Cut relay under the trailing coil (when equipped with theft deterrent from factory), and that jumpered plug is it's plug?
