I purchased a very similar set (no SS brake lines) from a guy on e-bay (donilam I think), and they have been great. I've had them for over a year.
I don't know anything about that seller. |
yeah I got some slotted and drilled rotors from ebay and they are really good! I think there are better deals than that on ebay though for rotors. I got mine for 240 plus shipping.
I still think that is a really good deal..........buy it now........my favorite feature.....I don't bid, just buy.
oh my bad didn't see what that came with, yes go for it.
i have to get a stinkin airflow meter.
anyone got one thats in good/great/rebuilt condition? |
heh, you can get rotors for ~$30 a pc at the auto store. They won't be all bling bling... but they will probably work just as well...
i got a good deal on rotors from poor college student. brembo fronts and bradi rears. all for cheaper than the ebay auction.
they are your brakes. Do you really want cheap off brand Ebay rotors stopping you?
like i said contact poor college student.
and what is that zinc coating stuff? how does that work and what are the benefits/downsides? |
Zinc doesn't rust, so coat the rotor in it, and no rust! The only thing it affects in this case is rusting of the parts not in contact with the pads. Meaning that thole thing stays bling. Instead of just where the pads rub off the rust.

gotta be careful because sometimes they just drill out low quality rotors and they will crack / warp over time.

Autozone sells them for around $60, Tirerack sells brembo blanks for $40something.
