Easiest way to reassemble the drive shaft.

Well my car came with a busted drive shaft, just slid right out after unbolting it.

BUT....

How the heck do I get this back together???? Do I have to unbolt the rear axle??

..What? Post that again, but be coherent. The driveshaft is *supposed to* slide right out (of the transmission) once it's unbolted (the 4 bolts connecting the flat plate on the end of the driveshaft, with the 2 u-joints, and the flat plate on the rear axle).

This is 100% true.

Ok... thought that was pretty simple....

My car came with a sheared drive shaft at the u-joing between the tranny and shaft. This means it was disconnected from the tranny, but still connected/bolted to the rear axle.

When I slid it out, I never saw it completly assembled.
Do I just slide the tranny side in, and then bolt it to the rear axle.

Would napa have it?
