I've read on here about guys using a Fiero e-fan. Try a search and see what you come up with.

Is there an electric fan you can use and keep the fan shroud?

I have a 16in SPAL electric fan.. it works well for me, but it is loud as hell. I think that it cost about $100 but i don't remember for sure.

I went to the junk yard and got a fan from an 86 grand-am i think it was, and it works great, and for only 10 bucks. For the switch i used a thermostat switch from the auto parts store for like 18 bucks i think it was. Just my 28 dollar fan install, and i still think i payed too much.

Where did you connect the power for the fan? I was hoping for an obvious place, but haven't found one yet. Thanks.

I hard wired it straight to the battery, works good, and cools the engine bay after the engine has been cut off, only thing is, im going to have to wire up a relay in the summer bc the summer heat may set off the thermostat sensor and possibly draining my battery. Any one know how to maybe wire it up to a timer? so that the fan will run for, say, 2 mins after the car is off, thanks

Why would you want to keep the shroud? Usually this mod is done to clean up the engine bay by using a push fan in front of the radiator, and the clutch fan is so freakin' loud.
