drivntrain question

im doin a turbo swap on a na..... the motor is in....tranny is in....but when it came to the driveshaft the tII shaft wont hook up to the NA rear end.....so know this is dumb question but do i need the tII rearend

clokker 04-01-07 03:37 PM

Yes, including the halfshafts.

not necessary, im not sure what company exactly i think mazdaspeed makes a custom driveshaft for like 100-150 that bolts t2 tranny to the na diff. if you have a na diff thats a lsd then you might want to go with that if not i would just try to find a t2 lsd cause you already hae the drive shaft

Got the halfshafts - $150 to your door. :D

yes, it's www.MAZDATRIX.com => http://mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=2691-799 (FC with turbo tranny and NA rear end, engine does not matter)

you'll either need to get the DS above or get the TII DS, rear end and halfshafts.
