driving with a broken diff mount

if i continue driving with a broken diff mount what kind of damage can i cause
i have a new mount comming in the mail but my diff is realy clunking hard

thanks

Don't drive it hard. What I mean by that is: no sudden acceleration that will cause the nose of the diff to slam against the underside, ie: dropping the clutch. If you feather the clutch more and keep the banging to a minimum, you should survive until you get your new mount.

you'll be fine for a while.
it lifts up and taps the chassis, thats the clunking noise.
there are parking brake cables above the mount so be carefuel of that, I cant remember if the stock mount gets close to tearing into / pinching those cables or not, you might want to jack up your car and take a quick look at whats hitting the chassis and where.

well i had my diff mount break on a luanch and it put a dent in the bottom of my car..lol but as they already said if you drive it like a grandma you'll be fine.

You'll wear out the rear diff mounts first, then break halfshafts.
