double pull double throw switch????
 

I wanted to know if anyone knew a way to wire a dpdt switch to operate 3 seconds one way then 3 seconds another and what materials to make it. thanks

isn't it double "pole" double throw. I could be wrong.

So what exactly are you trying to do? make something switch back and forth at 3 second intervals.

sorry i guess i should explain. i have a window motor and regulator for a project and need the motor to move up for 3 sec then down 3 on and on. without touchin and other switches after turning on.

i think it is pole but i see it both ways..................and cant spell and guess others cant also

youre not going to find a switch that will do that. you could use a time delay relay though...

it would have to be some sort of relay as mentioned above, i've never seen one that did that before though. You might give mouser or digikey a call, im sure they would help you find what you are looking for, they always lead me in the right direction.
