door handle problems please help
 

my drivers side door handle doesn't work and don't get flusstered because i all ready searched but got a lot of crap. the handle isn't broken physically or from what i can see but it just won't open the door the inside handle still works but i'm tired of crawling through the passenger side to open my door please help!

its a plastic peice inside the door panel, if you search longer and check archives you'll find thousands of threads on this, Its a problem with FCs and for the most part, japanese cars in general. At any rate if you have parts car you can take for remove the door handle peice and replace the broken/missing peices and you're all set. First time I did this it took over an hour, but most of that time was pend trying to put the damn door back together in working order.

Handle is broken.
Remove it, and it'll be obvious.
Stupid thing breaks at a very bad place, and you really can't weld the break or use some kinda epoxy on it.
You need to buy a new one and replace it.

Open door
Remove door skin
This comes the tricky part...
With the window fully up, you can access on of the nuts on the door handle.
You need to get the window all the way down (snap back the power window switch or push on the manual window crank) and then you can access the other nut on the door handle.
Remove linkages on the door handle
The door handle should be loose to remove from the outside.

hahahha same here w/my car, but it was driver then passenger so now i have to go through the trunk...haha well i have a pole w/a hook so i can open the door, im just gonna get me an alarm that rolls down the windows

What he said. I will add that you should be careful if you are concerned about the paint. It's a bit tricky feeding the handle and linkage out of the door (hard to explain but you'll see when you try it. And you can find these handles used on eBay normally. It's a common item to break and sellers know it. I got one that needed to be painted for $20 but I was going to paint the other one anyway so I didn't mind.
