This is the 2nd gen forum, but if done correctly then bridgeports whether half or full don't effect the longevity of the engine in themselves.

unless you utilize the higher revving powerband and alter the rev limits, then yes they can in fact alter the lifespan of the engine.

being that bridges require standalones, its very easy to alter the rev limits and alternatively affect the lifespan of the engine.

full bridge or half, doesn't matter though.

Running an effective air filter is far more important to engine longevity than porting is.
