Does anyone have fuel pumps other than the Walbro and denso 255lph

Looking for 250-275 hp
I would like a fuel pump that does not overpower everything. I want to optimize this sytem, no desire for more than 300hp as this is a track and time trial car.

According to RX-7.com, the FD fuel pump should handle this. Is that the best choice? Or is there something else between the FC pump and a walbro for output?

I am looking for a fuel pump to match the following mods:

-Recent rebuild with lightened components and
upgraded lubrication.Street port
-Majestic turbo upgraded and proted S4 turbo
(46 wheel I think)
-4 gsl-se injectors (primaries to be installed shortly)
-SAFC running off boost signal
-TMIC ( to keep lag down and cooling up)
-3" downpipe, hi flow cat, GT spec without the middle
silencer (tailpipe silencer has to be used or wastegate
gets overrun)
-Mazdacomp radiator, Black Magic fan
-Soon to be Greddy Profec B spec 2 set to 10 psi street,
12psi when running 100 octane on track (hope this
thing can handle a fast spooling engine)
- CAS retarded 3 degrees

btw, before everyone says go standalone, I want to put in a micotech or e01 as my next stage, still not sure its needed for this level of upgrade though.

I know a guy that ran an MK4 TT Supra fuel pump on his FC and quite a few guys run FD fuel pumps too.

Dude if in doubt, get the Aeromotive F.Pump that goes supports up to 1,000 HP. I have seen a couple of TUrbo 2s using those pumps, there bad ass, also the Barry Grant is nice as well, I believe they make the model that goes up to 1,000 HP

dmcrx7, you heard the guy. 1000HP is your next goal. :)

No kidding, somehow I don't think a 1000hp fuel pump would optimize my current setup.
Thanks for the post Dan

for those desired HP levels

a Walbro for $100 can not be beat
It's not lound and is reliable

If you want to optimize it, get a fuelpump thats overkill, big injectors, and an FPR + Haltech to tune them down.

Don't cheap out.

All the oversized injectors and fuel systems on this forum is exactly why I posed the question. Everyone likes to jump in and tell you how to set up for 1,000,000 horsepower. I want to set up for 250, and am asking others who have done the same for advice. A lower flow fuel pump and injecors are just as expensive. And I plan on a standalone, however, a denso fuel pump, 720's and 1680's like you have would have about the same fuel dispersion as me puking my guts out over some of these smart ass replies.

Thanks kabooski,
I was worried about rich idle, but it sounds like walbro may be the ticket.

I run the FD pump, but for the money I could have just bought the Walbro. Walbro has more room to grow, FC pump is "limited" to around 300HP (flywheel) in the FC.

That's not optimised, it's unnecessary overkill. It's also a waste of money if you have no intention of fully utilising them.

A 300hp fuel capacity on a 250hp engine is smart. A 500hp fuel capacity on that engine is not. ;)

Oops! I meant "FD pump is limited....". NOT the FC pump...
