Does anyone have the actual measurements of s5 gauge cluster???

I want to know how big the four little gauges are (fuel, boost, oil press, and water temp) are in diameter on an s5 TII. And also the size of the rev gauge in diameter on the same car. Not on a s4 because the four little ones are round obviously. I only ask to save me pulling mine out to get it exactly.

Maybe someone has one sitting around and can just measure it? Or maybe you have way to much time on your hands and just know way to many pointless things? Either way you can help me. and it will be appreciated.

Cheers,

-Hij.

Hey mate, your in luck ;)

Factory boost-fuel-pressure-temp gauges are 45mm. Tacho is 99mm. Speedometer is 93mm.
Do you plan on replacing the factory gauges with aftermarket ones?

Hey thanks a bunch and yea I do... may have to cut out the holes a bit bigger tho hmmm... It limits at 9.5k rpm so the tacho atm don't cut it. So I wanna change all of the gauges in there and have it looking like its meant to be there.

Thanks for your help.

2 Attachment(s)
I have just tried fitting 52mm aftermarket gauges to replace the oil p - water t - boost gauges.
Was a pretty tight fit and required removing alot of material from behind the cluster while also trying not to damage the circuit board at the back.

Also be carefull trying to remove the clear plastic lense that houses the gauges, mine was glued on pretty good and i ended up carefully grinding it off so I could use it again without breaking it.
Good luck

I eventually want to try and do this but on a slightly different scale. I want to replace all but the speedometer(even replacement of this is a thought) with quality gauges in a custom bezel. Especially since the car will be on a standalone when i get around to it.
