Do you like this FC?

What do you think of this FC in the pic? I don't know who's car that is but that color is what color I will paint my NA when I get some $$. I won't paint over the trim like they did, though, just a stock scheme.

What do you think? OK? :gay:? It is the closest I have seen to a Competition Yellow FC.

1987RX7guy 02-05-03 10:43 PM

looks good dude.:)

mrb63083 02-05-03 10:47 PM

that color only looks good on a 3rd gen...to me on a 2nd gen it just dosn't look right.

YLOLDBTR 02-05-03 10:48 PM

I think I would go a bit darker, but hey it's your car. Go with what you think man.

ra ra rotory 02-05-03 10:51 PM

yeah, I would say, if your going yellow, you should go with a more brilliant yellow. Also, im not sure but i dont think yellow will look good with black trim, you might consider going to s5 trim or just painting yours. my 2 cents

88IntegraLS 02-05-03 10:54 PM

More! Don't be shy people, tell me what you really think. I hated it at first but it is growing on me. That shade is not quite right.

j200pruf 02-05-03 11:06 PM

I like it, looks kinda like the yellow that Paul (silkworm) put on his racer.

Rotorific 02-05-03 11:35 PM

eww

88IntegraLS 02-05-03 11:49 PM

OK what do you guys think of this one? It is a lighter shade and I like it more than the first one (not just because of the body kit).

OptimusPrime 02-05-03 11:54 PM

i like it

RX7withNitrous 02-06-03 12:21 AM

god damn i love yellow second gens. shit's so tight. I want to paint mine yellow down the road. I liked the first yellow one cym yellow is the only way to go.

RarestRX 02-06-03 12:42 AM

Yo,

I think yellow FC's are cool!

You might want to look into the Vivid Yellow that the Mazda Protege 5 comes in. It's a good yellow, and a factory Mazda color!!

I like the second yellow a little better... both would look tight.

Psychoblue23 02-06-03 01:43 AM

i personally like yellow sevens , my fd will be yellow

DC350 02-06-03 02:18 AM

Looks good!

Spraintz 02-06-03 02:35 AM

i have never been excited about a yellow FC but i would definately suggest painting the moldings or better yet S5 trim.

Also I think it would look kickin to use the actual Mazda Competition Yellow Mica paint:bigthumb:

Kinda keepin it Mazda yet being original.

good luck

Takahasi_Ryosuke 02-06-03 05:41 AM

Ehhhh

I vear away ffrom the colors "Pull my ass over red" and "bust my ass yellow"

Roy James 02-06-03 10:44 AM

yeah, i like the second yellow alot better. The first one, just looks like cheap paint yellow to me. I would go a little darker though, just me. Good luck man, im sure she'll be tight.

KNONFS 02-06-03 11:08 AM

I like the first pic!!

diablone 02-06-03 11:12 AM

I'd like the first if it was a little darker. Some wheels would really set it off too. The second is too light.

RX7withNitrous 02-06-03 11:26 AM

what about "catch me if you can cause cop cars are slow and handle for shit yellow" Fuck the bacon :)

YLOLDBTR 02-06-03 12:00 PM

That second one looks like a pearlized yellow. I like it, even though it isn't as dark as I normally like.

KiyoKix 02-06-03 12:03 PM

Wow, impressive color. I'm wasn't a big fan of yellow FC's because I haven't really seen anyone use a yellow that was YELLOW enough (most that I've seen use either egg yolk from boiled eggs :D, or tennis ball green), but the first pic isn't bad at all. I'm still not sure if I like FC's w/out moldings on the side...it kinda gives the car more of a personality on the outside than w/out them (the engine and the rest of the car already have enough of their own soul). Nice though...makes me think
