Differences on SS Braided Lines
 

Kinda noobish but it got me thinking. I'm trying to make a oil inlet line for my turbo 2 with -4an fittings. My question is that is there any difference between nitrous lines and something like brake lines? Since one flows liquid and one flows gas. Cause I see everyone making 4an rubber hoses that are wrapped in stainless with fittings but I see that they have kits on ebay that just come with hoses that look like regular nitrous lines with 4an fittings. I may have some extra nitrous hoses and thinking about using that. Is there any difference? Would I have to buy a special hose or something? Thanks

You should look into what materials the nitrous lines are made of, but I can tell you for certain that nitrous pressure is about 20x that of fuel pressure.

any 4AN line will work, just make sure you have the proper adapter for the front cover.

The nitrous lines are probably Teflon lined. Make sure they can handle the temperature. I believe most can...

most nitrous lines are hard lines.

every kit I have ran has been braided SS lines... every standard fogger kit or dry kit for that matter come with SS lines.
