Difference between Vert/TII cruise control/turn signal switches?

I saw a 1990 Vert the other day and noticed his rocker switches for his cruise control were different then mine. They were more arms then anything and looked a little nicer.

Is that a 1990 thing or a Vert thing? and most importantly, is it something i could convert mine to? ( i dont see why not)

my turn signal switch is busted so i gotta get a new one

It is a SRS thing. The US 90-91 vert uses an airbag for its SRS system, while the US 89-91 coupes use the mouse belts.

The 90-91 vert steering column is different to support the air bag, and uses the stalk controls rather than the flipper controls of all the other FC models.

It would take considerable re-wiring and different electronics to fit a 90-91 vert steering column switches and wiper/hazard/cruise switch to a coupe or 88-89 'vert. Even the 90-91 vert CPU functions and wiring are entirely different than the 89-91 coupe.
