alright, they have like 4 presilencers....certain years, n/a, mt, at.......whats the difference?
say you were getting custom exhaust welded, would it really matter which ones you had? any better than the other? thanks! |

I think the N/A ones are more open than the turbo ones, but don't quote me on it. Might as well just get the one thats made for your application though.

haha well, if i an automatic, planning to convert to manual, and making a custom true dual.......
i mean i wanna know what the differences are before i pay $50 too much, if the cheaper ones would work the same. |
wait... they have a different one from MT to AT? Are the exausts on the automatics the same?
|
transmission is a different size slightly between the auto and the manual, the 89+ doesnt have a back pressure tube or require the air pump to be removed, whereas the 88- does, i think the downpipes are different lengths between the auto/manual to clear the transmission.
the turbo ones have different flanges. i think ... holla! |
zero, the rb site has instructions for doing a dual resonator setup kinda... here:
If you are planning on using two (2) Power Pulse Presilencers in conjunction with our Road Racing Header for a long primary system on a 1989-92 6-port engine, we recommend using two (2) of our standard presilencers (Part No. 16400) used on 4-port engines. btw the convertable is also a different shape, probably to clear more bracing |
