Difference between and 91 N/A and Turbo

Hopefully someone can help me. What are the visual differences in the block between a N/a and TII......trying to identify a short block that a friend has.
thanks,
Ryad.

Quick way? The non-turbo housings have diffusers in the exhaust ports, while the turbos dont.

The n/a is 6 port and the turbo is 4 port.

If it's been rebuilt, chances are they were taken out.

Yeah...the engine has been rebuilt.....
I will look at the intake ports, but I will have to take the intake out...it's still on.....I was hoping that there was an easy way to tell...say from an identification/model No....e.g....13BT Mazda or 13B Mazda....
thanks...

With the LIM off, you'd see two pairs of holes on each outside housing.
With the LIM on, it's kinda obvious with the 6-port actuators.

No, there are not markings to tell you it's a turbo or not.

You can also tell by the oil filler neck. It its straight up its N/A. If its horizontal then its a turbo.
