Diff Housing?

is there a difference between a s4 and s5 diff housing? also can you use a s5 diff in a s4 housing?

I believe they are the same as long as they're both N/A or both T2 Diffs. Here's a clue, T2 diffs are bigger than N/A diffs.

Thanks for the clue?

Turbo Goes with Turbo, Non turbo goes with Non turbo.

That's how the Interchange Works.

I believe the turbos have a 7 inch ring gear, and the NA's are smaller, 6" maybe? Correct me if I'm wrong... for some reason the number 8 is popping into my head, as well...

ok , other than the na-TII size fact. theres no difference in a s4-s5 na-TII diff. so i can use a s5 aftermarket diff for a TII in a s4 diff housing.
