this may have been posted already, but i cant find anything on it. can anybody tell me how to change my diff fluid?? help please

Should be a drain plug on the bottom, something like a 24mm and a fill plug about 2/3's up the diff that’s a 23mm I think. I would open the fill first do it drains a little faster but that’s just me. Then I would drain but you have to be careful when filling it back up. You will most likely just have the rear jacked up so you can put more fluid in the diff than you are supposed to have before it runs out. I would measure it out and use a gear oil hand pump.

and a little off topic I know, but why should you change the diff fluid? I have 190,000 miles on it and am slightly concerned.

The procedure for changing the diff fluid and how often you should do it are both in the FSM. That applies to all other periodic maintenance requirements too. Please read the FSM before posting. If you don't have it, go here:
