Did pressure sensor grounding and now I am having extreme problems!
 

Well, I got to doing some work on the car today and I gave the pressure sensor grounding a shot, since a lot of people say that it is the most important grounding in which you can do. I completed the task just as described, but now I have some problems as follows!:


1. The needle located in between the "E" and "F" on my gauge cluster exhibits poor acceleration when going from "F" to "E".

2. Under hard acceleration, both the tachometer and the speedometer needles jump sharply after the tachometer needle hits about 3000-3500rpm.

3. It is much harder to lift my head from the headrest while the car is accelerating.

4. The suspension has developed some strange issue to where my car now steers with the rearmost tires when accelerating through a corner. I have checked my tire pressures to no avail!

5. Engine vibrations have become almost totally inaudible and it is difficult to tell engine rpm by listening to quarters shaking in my change slots.

Check your muffler bearings and halogen fluid.

I hear it also might be due to the steering wheel-seat interface being FUBARED. Best bet is to replace it with a functioning unit.

But I cover the interface up every night, and clean it thoroughly every morning! How could such a failure have happened? It looked pretty good to me upon inspection.

Failure due to lack of use. :D

ok so im kinda lost....you grounded your boost sensor and posted that you were having problems but in reality they arent problems you are having??so it actually helped?? and where on your boost sensor do you attach the ground , my boost sensor is all plastic

On the ground wire. They changed colors over the generation so... Run a search for the wire on your car. Or look in the FSM.

well i had 2 black wires going into one of the spade connectors in the plug, 2 brown/whites going into another, 1 redish/brown going into another spade connector and a black/white going into the fourth and final spade connector in the plug. so i had no clue, i whipped out the trusty old multimeter and got 0 volts on the 2 black/black wires, 5 volts on another set, 12 volts on another set, and 0 on the redish/brown wire. so i figured they would never make ground a redish/brown wire and i used the 2 totally black wires that were together, and it seems to work fine. why is there 2 wires going into one hole on the plug, no one else has said anything about 2 wires....

It was just a joke man. The ground had nothing but great effects. I only grounded one of my 2 black/brown wires. I'm considering going back and splicing the other one, but I don't think that the gains can get much better. This car totally hauls at all speeds now. The OEM ground must have been toasted or something.

Today I am going to do the rest of the grounds. This is some good stuff.

I kid you not man. I was coming out of a parking lot onto a 2 lane road, and I stepped on it to get myself up to speed as soon as possible. When I did, my car just went totally sideways. It did it so damn quicly and unexpectedly that it smacked my head against the top of the door.

It wants to drift through all corners all of the time now. I can only imagine what kind of hp gains I am seeing, but the butt dyno is definitely picking up something. 100mph is way too easy to hit now, and I only have to lean against the pedal slightly to get her above 70mph. I'm accidentally breaking all kinds of speed limits now. It just doesn't want to go slow.

Yeah, after I saw all of the grounds that you had done on your car, I decided to give it a shot. It clearly turned out great. I am going to go now and solder everything into place.
