Which Decal?

Well I am going to start painting my Turbo 2 a week form today. Starting with sanding, bondo and primering. I am debating on what to do about the side "Turbo II" decals. I was wanting to get "GT-X" or "GT-R" decals and put them where the oringinal decals went. It is a 87 with a series 5 exterior conversion so it looks like a s5, but it is a s4. I was buying parts now so I will probably make my decision and buy them tomorrow. What should I do?

Well I believe GTX is the Japanese name for the TII.

I'd go GTX so the rice boys don't know it's the TII until it's too late.

Uhh...

Weren't all of the RX-7s in Japan Turbocharged? I'm pretty sure they were, so it doesn't really matter what decal you put on it.

My vote is for the "GT Limited" one.

No decal. Don't let them know what just wooped their azz. :D

decals suck.

Gotta agree w/87rx7 on this one- you want 'em asking,
"Who just handed me my azz?"

:D

You can put a magnet like this on your car and tell people "I don't drive fast, I fly low"

yeah I'd leave it clean, keep it a mystery.

Like anyone you would be trying to fool would think " Oh its ok that I lost because that was a GT-X RX-7, the turbocharged Japanese model." Go with the GT-X to be different, or leave it clean for looks, not for secrecy.

I probably sould have explained alittle better to those who arent aware. GT-R was the s4 TII in Japan and GT-X was the s5 TII in Japan.

I was leaning twords the GT-X

Mine is GTU badged, as soon as I get all the body work done, I am going to de-badge it. I already get a lot of people asking "what is that" I Love it. by the way I was out eating civics last night.... boy am I full.
