jgrts20 08-12-03 06:30 PM

Chimeron 08-12-03 06:31 PM

ok...... let's rethink this....... anyone know how to de-activate the CC !!SYSTEM!! I can't find a fuse so there has to be another way.

jgrts20 08-12-03 06:36 PM

Chimeron 08-12-03 06:39 PM

Chimeron 08-12-03 07:38 PM

Come on, help me out here guys, doesn't seem to be a fuse for it.

Cwaters 08-12-03 07:44 PM

out of curiosity, what's the problem?

Chimeron 08-12-03 07:46 PM

my car is idling...... if you wanna call it that..... at 7000 rpms. I think it may be CC fault. Check the other thread. EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED, it should still be around the top.

Spawn VII 08-12-03 09:47 PM

i think the cable might be stuck... happened to me once when i was on the freeway trying out the CC, car keeps going faster and when i stepped on the clutch, the rpm shoots right to redline, turns out the cable is stuck and doesn't return to its normal position

Why don't you just pull the plug off the unit in the engine bay? That'll do it everytime. Then, with a mirror and flashligt, look at the throttle linkage at the rear of the throttle body and see if you see binding when the throttle is opened and closed.
