Damn...Big Turbo/J-Spec Engine Problem.

Well, I recently had an S5 J-spec motor put in my S4 Turbo II. Everything from my TII were put on (the S5 turbo had ridiculous play) it. When I had driven it to the person's house (who will not be named) the turbo was working just peachy. I get it back, and now I'm having all sorts of problems. The Turbo *Does Not* spool, It's a very heart-wrenching clunk clunk sound when I get to a spool-able RPM. And my car bogs. Almost killing the engine, it can hardly idle, and it can't rapidy drop from anywhere above 3k without the engine dying (unless I immediately rev it). It hesitates even then to rev back up. One I hit about 3.5k (or around when the turbo would kick in), my car would jerk and bog back and forth, until I let of the gas (and sometimes not even then.)

The guy who put the J-spec in says my Turbo is toast, which I do believe to be true, but It's hard to believe it is causing all of these symptoms, unless it's hogging the air-flow throughout the engine...

Help?

you needa check the compression.. it sounds like the engine is blown.. did you do a rebuild on the Jspec engine? those are a luck of the draw kind of things.. you eventually do get a bad one that needs a rebuild. just do a compression check.. take the spark plugs out.. and turn the engine over.. listen to the "whoosh" sound.. they should all sound the same..

Did you checked the CAS? Ignition may be your problem.

Or you just need to change spark plugs...

Brand new plugs, compression tested at 110.
